Home : What is an Electric Toothbrush?
A toothbrush that uses electric power to move the brush head is called an electric toothbrush. The first electric toothbrush was created by a man known as Dr. Scott in America in the 1800s. The first rotating electric toothbrush, the Broxodent was introduced by Squibb Pharmaceutical in 1960. These toothbrushes were initially made for patients with limited motor skills and patients with braces. An electric toothbrush is more convenient for those who have arthritis. Any sort of electric toothbrush is good for people who are not as good at cleaning their teeth and as a result, have oral hygiene problems.
